There is so much information out there today on online gambling, sometimes it’s hard to know which internet sites are giving you real tips and reviews and which ones are just in cahoots with the internet casino companies they’re advertising for. This was why I decided to just check out some good old-fashioned books. Here are a few that I recommend:
Beat the Internet Casinos! By Roger L. Ford. This is a great paperback (it’s a bit on the pricey side, but it’s totally worth it.) The book claims you can make an extra $5000 a week by playing an internet casino with their system but as with most claims, it hasn’t come true yet (for me anyway.) I did however, learn a bunch of things about online casinos that I didn’t know and because of that I was able to “tweak” my playing and I’m certainly winning a lot more money than I used to a losing a heck of a lot less… I wonder exactly how LONG it takes to reach that $5000 a week mark…. I’ll keep you posted.
Another great one that I’ve come across recently is called How To Beat Internet Casinos and Poker Rooms by Arnold Snyder. This guy talks about how to get the most out of your internet casino bonus, how to pick the games with better odds, and how to choose the best and safest sites to play. He also goes into different poker strategies (texas holdem.) This book is great for gamblers who are used to playing offline as opposed to online.
Getting your hands on these books will definitely help your overall game and will also get you motivated and ready to win some serious cash! I might not be at the $5000 a week mark, but I’m getting closer! They’re also great presents for any of your friends who also like to play an internet casino and not only wait for those “once in a while’ trips to Vegas.

When I first started playing backgammon, it was a tough process. A friend and I got interested in the game after watching some pros on television. We liked what we saw so we went out and bought a board, a “how to play backgammon” book, and went home to figure it all out. Well, the information in the instructions and in the book were good and gave us an idea of the basic rules and how to understand the book, but it ends up you learn backgammon by playing and two guys who didn’t know what they were doing is not a good way to learn.
That’s when I got online and found out about internet backgammon. This is the perfect way for new players to get started. There are free internet backgammon sites that allow you to play against the computer and against other online players. So, you can get on, start learning through experience, and if you mess up a general rule, the computer will let you know and, if you mess up strategically, your opponent will let you know by taking advantage and beating you. But, in the end, the internet backgammon players online are really helpful and most of the people I played against gave me really great tips late.
Thanks to internet backgammon and helpful online players, it didn’t take long until I started playing competently and had gained confidence. Now I’m taking on the real money backgammon games and loving every minute of it.

When someone says that something is free, our first reaction in these cynical times is to be disbelieving and think, ‘ok, where’s the catch?’ Well, I want to tell you that in the case of free online casino there aren’t really any catches. You can also ignore those people who get rather sniffy at the mention of a free online casino, thinking that it is but a pale imitation of the purest form of gambling i.e. with money. If you aren’t at the stage in your gambling life where you feel comfortable playing for cash, relax and get your bearings in a free online casino.
You should also not be put off by the impression that as you aren’t playing for money, that the internet casino is going to treat you like a second-class citizen or something. Many people have started off successful ‘careers’ in paying internet casinos, but trying their hands at a free online casino first. How else can you grasp the basics of playing different games, without the fear of losing large amounts of money because you are not sure what you are doing? The simple answer is by becoming practiced, playing in a free online casino first.
Often times you won’t have to download any software either, though you should be careful to read through the fine print of the free online casino at which you choose to play. Do that, and you will well on the road to many hours of enjoyment.

I’m not sure, but I might have started online gambling at its inception. I’ve just been doing it for so long. It’s the last few years though that I’ve really been seeing myself get serious. When I started online gambling it was just to practice up or get some play in when I couldn’t get to the live tables. It was fun but nothing overwhelming. With the popularity explosion that’s taken place, however, I can see how the business has really invested in itself. Nowadays the graphics are amazing, the options available to gamblers beat live casinos, and the profit potential has increased with casino bonuses and higher payouts. I can even play at a live casino table virtually, through my computer, at casinos all over the world. It’s incredible!
I’ve had so much fun I really don’t go to the live casinos anymore. There’s no point; why waste money on gas, food, and hotels when I can get all the excitement at home? The quality of online casino gambling added to my fun so much I have really started to become a serious player. I read up on blackjack and poker strategies preparing for online tournaments and love the competition. I’ve been averaging play 4-5 days a week for around 4-6 hours a day. I’m bringing home, on average, over $100 a day. You do the math, I’m doing well. I’ve even begun contemplating working part-time and supplementing my earnings with my online casino winnings. Hey, a man can dream!

Be aggressive. Following the styles of players like Bill Robertie and Nack Ballard, I started playing Backgammon both online and offline in a more aggressive manner. Turns out that not only have I improved my game considerably, but the game itself has turned more interesting and fun. Some may say I have a competitive personality, but the truth is that by playing more aggressively I force myself to pay more attention to the game and what I need to do in order to win, resulting in more victories, which, in return, has increased my confidence. Due to this, I am sharing my experience with you as my Backgammon tip of the day.
What I mean by “be aggressive” is that, just as in real life, you must set yourself a goal within the game and pursuit it not only with confidence, but also assertively. The goal in Backgammon is clear to all: bear off all of your checkers before your opponent does. So having that clear objective in mind there is no reason for you just to be passive and wait for things to happen; make them happen! A great way to do this is by playing in a way that represents a threat to your opponent because it is so focused and, in a way offensive. There is nothing to be shy about; you are playing to win, not to be defeated. So build some blocks and primes, hit as many of your opponent’s checkers as you can, use the doubling cube. In other words: retard your opponent’s advancement and be in his/her face.
Once you start seeing the benefits of my humble Backgammon tip of the day, you will realize introducing some emotional elements of stress in the game will pay off greatly.
